FXHE Records brings a raw, soulful sound that pays homage to the origins of Chicago house and Detroit techno. Fully independent and run by Alex Omar Smith, known by many as Omar S, FXHE has become a staple and pioneering label in dance music culture. Omar S established FXHE in 2001 in his hometown of Detroit and has self-released the vast majority of his records on the label since. In addition to the work of Omar S, FXHE has released records by Marc Pharaoh, Norm Talley, Kyle Hall, Brian Kage, John Fm, Marc King, Kai Alce and more.
