UK-based artist Leif has spent the past decade exploring electronic music as a vehicle for meditation and reflection. His sound has evolved over 20 EPs and three acclaimed albums, most recently appearing on labels such as AD93, Livity Sound and Idle Hands as well as co-running UntilMyHeartStops with fellow Freerotation resident Joe Ellis. Over time, his subtle approach has shifted further away from the forthright propulsion of house and techno towards the more abstract - drawing on myriad elements from the rhythmic flair of broken beat to spacious ambient atmospherics, acoustic instrumentation and polyrhythmic melodic patterns. 2020 saw Leif introduce a new ambient live set, following a commission from London's Barbican Centre to compose and perform a soundtrack as part of their 'Silent Film and Live Music' series. The live set continues to evolve, expanding on musical themes hinted at in releases such as his 2019 album Loom Dream. Alongside his recorded output, Leif has also earned himself a reputation as a forward-thinking DJ, especially thanks to his residencies at Freerotation festival and London venue Pickle Factory. His selections serve as an extension of his musical demeanour – in particular his long-form warm-up sets that follow a gentle and considered arc between dreamy ambient, otherworldly house and techno, crooked broken beats and electronica.

Far from the hype, french DJ/Producer Kriss Life Recorder keeps building his own craft since some time now, showing his forever inspirations rooted into Detroit, Chicago deep techno/house sound culture and travelling through many genres. Based in the city of Marseille and born in the french suburbs of Geneva, he started to DJ and connect to the music, record shops and club culture in this area during the 90'ies. Puting his first foot into production with a more Detroit and techno sound things got more serious a few years later just after moving in Marseille with his acclaimed release 'No Look Back' on Keith Worthy's Detroit imprint “Aesthetic Audio” puting some light on a more deep house oriented and personal sound, giving him a new momentum and giving birth to new releases on labels like Bokhari, Argumento, Grounded In Humanity, Sound Reflection in Chicago or in 2018 on Hizou Deep Rooted with his 'Pressure Jazz' EP. Although he has been recognized for some of his productions the past few years, Kriss firstly comes from the DJ culture showing his skills and a real ability to mix together deep house and techno atmospheres travelling to old and new territories. He had chance to show it with gigs accross europe and middle east locations with stops at Tresor Berlin, Jane Fitz's Night Moves party in London, Tel Aviv, Mallorca, Belgrade or Tbilisi. In the meantime he is a more regular on Marseille's local scene also working with collective and record shop Extend & Play. Trying to focus on the meaning of his music, Life Recorder keeps flying over where his music takes him. In 2017 he takes a new step and gives birth to his own label naturally called Life Notes Recordings in order to keep pushing his own vision of music also now using the alias of Motion Process.

Reedale Rise's debut vinyl release was a deep techno cut on Edinburgh based label Common Dreams in 2015. This was followed up by two well received EPs on Holland's longstanding bastion of electronic deepness, Frustrated Funk. A return to Frustrated Funk beckons again in 2020. In 2019 Reedale Rise joined the 2020 Vision label's electro movement known as 'Exit Plant Earth' by playing at two parties in Leeds and contributing an EP and track on a various artists release for them. He continues to play far and wide with gigs from Lisbon to Kiev under his belt. 2018 brought a critically admired debut LP on Kondi Records and a Reedale Rise track appearing on one of the final Fabric CDs, mixed by Craig Richards. Other labels he's released on include Boe Recordings, Where We Met, Emotions Electric, Childhood Intelligence, Assemble, Subwax Excursions, Propersound and Spaecial. Through these releases his varied production styles have been flexed whilst always retaining a clear identity centred around melodic, emotional sounds. Before releasing any music Reedale Rise was a prolific Youtuber with a cult channel demonstrating his skills in the hardware studio and providing advice and support to other budding hardware lovers. His teenage years in were spent in Cornwall listening obsessively to techno and drum and bass mixes taped from the radio, with the likes of LTJ Bukem, Goldie, Dave Clarke and Jeff Mills being pivotal influences. 1998 was the year to leave sleepy Cornwall and head north to Liverpool for university and further musical education. Cutting his serious clubbing teeth at Liverpool's Bugged Out! parties, led him deeper into the world of house and techno, with Derrick May and Carl Craig becoming ongoing inspirations.
