This is cinematic, electronic music at its most raw and emotional. Supported by Complex, BBC Radio One and 1xtra, Unilad (Facebook Live session with full live band) and The Quietus, Skeptik’s new album is being received as nothing short of an eclectic masterpiece. From his fantastically diverse, cinematic solo debut entitled ‘Thanks For Trying’ released on BBE Records, DJ, producer and composer The Last Skeptik has continued on a genre-defying journey through electronic music and beyond. Following in the footsteps of J Dilla and Pete Rock, Skeptik took it leftfield, adding an orchestra of musicians over neck-snapping rooted in electronic hip hop production, and has consistently lauded by press, fans and radio alike every since.
