Surrounded by mystery and simplicity, 'Hurry Up' demonstrates both power and heft with few elements. The driving force builds a tension which really doesn't reach a peak, something that the locked groove vocal manages to balance perfectly. The energy is constant and keeps things interesting.
The B-side starts off with 'Runaway', a Chicago-resembling funk track that reflects the 90's tradition and the new digital age.
