Aroop's eclectic productions have been supported by tastemakers and DJs from diverse scenes and generations ranging from underground tastemakers Gilles Peterson, Hunee, and Mr Scruff, to crossover DJs such as Disclosure, Soul Clap and Jamie Jones. He has released music on an ever-growing list of labels such as Delusions of Grandeur, House of Disco, Gamm, Basic Fingers, Kampana and his own imprint Vive La Musique. Aroop has performed in 5 continents and over 40 cities, having had residencies in London, Geneva and Tokyo and regular tours of USA and Asia. Like his productions, his DJ sets are always a performance full of personality and style. His position as a global tastemaker is clear with guest mixes for the likes of Gilles Peterson's legendary Worldwide programme, deep house pioneers Freerange Records. broken beat scene leaders CO-OP and UK's Jazz FM. In 2018, Aroop launched his label Vive La Musique with an official reissue and reworks of a rare 80s Zouk tune. The Tabala Mouv 12' became one of the fastest selling records of the year and was been featured by major tastemakers across the scene including BBC Radio 1, Mixmag, DJ Mag, Rush Hour and Phonica, topping Juno Record's monthly chart after only 2 weeks. The 2019 follow-up Sammy Massamba's 'Azali' had similar support with Aroop's edit scoring 10/10 in Mixmag and earning 'Tune of the Month' and gaining Reissue of the Year at Vinyl Factory. Peter Croce is a Detroit based deejay, musician, and producer. His releases have been supported by the likes of Mr. Scruff, Gilles Peterson, Jimpster, The Black Madonna, Dimitri From Paris, Danny Krivit, Jeremy Underground, Simbad, Aroop Roy, Andy Weatherall, Waajeed, Sasha, and more. In addition to releasing on Soundway, Razor-N-Tape, Worldwide FM Awards’ 2017 label of the year On The Corner, and more, he owns and operates Rocksteady Disco and manages MotorCity Wine Recordings.
