Natal Zaks has spent more than a decade quietly shaping the sound of Aarhus electronic music. Best known as Central, the Danish producer moves between deep house, breakbeat, ambient and experimental electronics across a sprawling network of aliases including Palta, Alle, Maizena, Hi Mount, Olo and Soft Talk. Closely connected to the Regelbau collective and labels such as Help, No Hands and Extra Help, Zaks’ catalogue rewards digging: one record often leads to another identity, collaboration or corner of the wider Aarhus scene.
